Ingredients

For the Dough

• 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast • 3/4 cup warm water • 1 1/2 tsp honey • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour • 1/4 cup olive oil • 1/2 tsp salt

For the Topping

• 1/4 cup olive oil • 1 tbsp oregano • 1 tsp garlic powder • 1/4 tsp salt • 1/4 cup sesame seeds

Instructions

Making the Dough

1. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in the warm water and let sit for 5 minutes. 2. Add the honey, flour, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture and stir until everything is combined and a soft dough forms. 3. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5 minutes. 4. Place the dough into a lightly oiled bowl and cover tightly with plastic wrap. Let the dough rise for about 30 minutes in a warm place.

Shaping the Breadsticks

1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. 2. When the dough has doubled in size, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface. 3. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and roll each piece into a 12-inch long breadstick. 4. Place the breadsticks onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with olive oil. 5. Cooking the Breadsticks
